T1.1 TENDER NOTICE AND INVITATION TO TENDER (Incorporating SBD1)CLOSING DATE (AT 11:00): MONDAY 12 JULY 2021 The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) invites Joint Ventures between suitably experienced, SANAS accredited laboratories and Targeted Partners for undertaking site laboratory testing in accordance with SANS 3001 for the Construction Administration and Monitoring of the Kokstad Interchange and Traffic Control Centre on National Route 2, Section 21 (KM 6.42). This project is in the province of KwaZulu-Natal and in the district municipality of Harry Gwala and the approximate duration is of 33 months, commencing September 2021 Preferences are offered to tenderers who comply with the criteria stated in the Tender Data. The tenderers will be evaluated on functionality (quality) criteria with a threshold of 70%. Joint Ventures (JV) shall be required with the Lead Partner being a suitably experienced, SANAS accredited laboratory and the Targeted Partner being a Targeted Enterprise as defined in the tender data. Only tenders that comply with the following B-BBEE contributor status levels are eligible to tender:
