The address for submission of tender documents is: The South African National Roads Agency SOC Ltd The Regional Manager: Eastern Region 58 van Eck Place, Mkondeni, PIETERMARITZBURG, 3201 Tender Box at Reception area LEO-NN JV invites tenders on behalf of the Applicant, the South African National Roads Agency SOC limited, for the Subservice of managing the environmental process and monitoring environmental compliance during construction Periodic Maintenance of National Road 11 Section 4 between Ingogo Station (km 21.0) and Kwaggasnek (km 39.0). This project is in the province of Kwa-Zulu Natal and in the district municipality of Amajuba. The approximate duration is thirteen (13) months, commencing upon commencement of construction contract. Preferences are offered to tenderers who comply with the criteria stated in the Tender Data. The Applicant is committed to transformation, employment equity and staff advancement, and to supporting black economic empowerment. Only tenders with a B-BBEE contributor status level of 1, 2, 3or 4 are eligible to tender. Joint Ventures (JV) will be allowed on condition that 1 (one) JV partner is a Targeted Enterprise. Only tenderers whose Key Person/s have at least five (5) years of practical post graduate experience as an environmental assessment practitioner are eligible to submit tenders. It will be an advantage for the tenderer to be registered with the Environmental Division of the South African Council of Natural Science Professions (SACNASP) and/ or any other recognised environmental professional body. COMPLETION AND DELIVERY OF TENDERS The closing time and date for receipt of tenders is 11:00 on THURSDAY, 30 SEPTEMBER 2021.
